Scott was a referral from our Realtor. We were in the process of buying a beautiful Old World Home but the sellers consistently tried to get us to take away our home inspection contingency which didn't sit right with us, to the point where they gave us a home inspection report from a previous transaction.

We had an amazing experience with Scott and Honest Home Inspections from beginning to end. 

My girlfriend and I called to schedule the inspection, just several days prior to when we wanted to have it. The receptionist was incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable and made sure to fully understand what our concerns were, what we were hoping to get out of the inspection and recommended some additional services - the recall check is amazing and you should highly consider adding it onto your purchase.

Scott brought an additional inspector along and did a thorough review of the house. Despite having the existing report, Scott treated this as though he didn't have any existing information. He was extremely thorough and walked us thorough and walked us through every little detail, telling us different fixes we could do, giving us an estimate on price points and even recommending some top notch companies that could help us.

The overall inspection took about 6 hours - again his attention to detail is extremely present and high. We received a 92 page report with tons of details, recommendations, and potential fixes for the entire house.

Thanks to Scott and his team we were able to negotiate a lot of deal breakers into our real estate transaction and still win our dream home, just with much more information on the quality and current state of the infrastructure in the house.
