Mike Bellek
Mike Bellek joined Honest Home Inspections in 2017. Mike is a Professional Home Inspector with Honest Home Inspections and is a 2003 graduate of the American Society of Home Inspectors, as a Certified Residential Inspector (CRI). Mike has completed the coursework on Mold Inspection to be a Certified Mold Inspector and has trained extensively with Scott on Mold Inspections. Mike trained with Scott for over eleven months on our software and our standards of practice, which are far above the state requirements. In addition, Mike is a Certified Residential Inspector (CRI) in Illinois, and has had his own business in residential home improvement. Prior to course work and prep to become a Wisconsin State Licensed inspector Mike was a Project Engineer for a Sterile Medical Device Manufacture.
Mike has completed a Radon Measurement courses, at least one is required by Honest Home Inspections, and has his Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) certification. Mike continues to take extra classes related to residential construction on his own and with Scott.
Mike has an Associates of Applied Science (AAS) Degree in Mechanical Technology, AAS in Engineering Science, and has taken classes for his BS in Industrial Engineering Technology. Mike is a member in good standing with the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), and a member of the local chapter Southeastern Wisconsin InterNACHI (SEW InterNACHI), and Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors (WAHI).
Mike lives in Muskego and is engaged to wonderful women, Elaine who lives in Waukesha. He has 1 son, who is a freshman at UW Platteville. When Mike is not inspecting houses, Mike and Elaine can be found camping, attending the Milwaukee Corvair Club, or car shows. Mike is also a past officer of the Muskego Moose Lodge.
